Inheritance Hijackers was a very good read in Part 1. Chapter seven was excellent in condensing and advising on the previous chapters. In Part 11, Case Studies - the stories were, in my view, actually boring. It would have been better to stick to the problems in the families and the legalities of the Will, rather than to try and be a novelist as well! I bought this book for research on a novel I am writing and it is a great help. However, I would like to know what can the Beneficiaries do to find out how things are progressing? Can they bypass the Executors and question the lawyer dealing with the Estate? Can they get actual accounts of all transactions (including bank transactions) done since the death of the "Donor"? How can THEY know they have been hijacked? If they got their own lawyer, can he/she find out these things? Do they need to get their own lawyer?
Inheritance law in Ireland seems pretty similar to yours. But Beneficiaries here (as in most places, I think) are reluctant to interfere because they think they may appear greedy, although I agree with you, it's all about love and feeling that their loved one thought as much about them as the rest of the family.
I have been interested in Wills since I cannot remember, reading your book was an absolute pleasure, but maybe you could write another and give more information? (Or just put it here)!
