About the author (1995)

Richard Danson Brown and David Johnson are Lecturers in Literature at the Open University.

Betty S. Johnson is Professor & Chair of the Department of General Business at Stephen F. Austin State University. She received a doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas. The winner of numerous teaching awards, she has taught business communication courses at the sophomore, junior, senior, and graduate levels. As a past president and Fellow of the Association for Business Communication, she has authored more than 40 articles in business communication and related topics. Betty is a frequent presenter on business communication subjects.
