About the author (2006)

Bruce E. Johansen is Frederick W. Kayser Professor of Communication and Native American Studies at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. He has written numerous books on the environment, including "Global Warming in the 21st Century" (Praeger, 2006) and "The Global Warming Combat Manual: Serious Solutions for a Sustainable World" (Praeger, 2008). His writing has appeared in several national forums, including the "Washington Post" and "The Progressive". He lives in Omaha, Nebraska.
