About the author (2001)

Keith Brumpton, who lives in Edinburgh, has written and illustrated a number of successful picture books for Orchard including, A Dinosaur's Book of Dinosaurs. He is also the author/illustrator of the very popular Police Dog 99 books and the Derek the Depressed Viking books. Gladiators! is the first title in this new series and is publishing simultaneously with the second, The Flying Sorceress!
