The Gutson Gang has their sights set on stealing The Secret Formula for a perfume that makes the wearer irresistible. Doc Gutson, Johnny Sequins and Pauly Three Toes also want cold, hard revenge and will stop at nothing to get it. But standing in their way are Bella Street, a cool, skateboarding champ and tech genius Felix Samson, a wannabe detective. Can Bella and Felix stop the evil trio, or will they both end up in the East River wearing cement shoes?

This is a short book, but what it lacks in length it makes up in substance. A good mystery/adventure for teens, but a little too scary in parts for younger kids. Read full review

Review: The Secret Formula (Bella Street Mysteries #1)

User Review  - Jo-Ann Murphy - Goodreads

I found this bookvery disturbing, especially the tretment of the dog. I wanted to bat the mother over the head fo hrirresponsible behavior. At times, the story drew me in, but overall it just distrubed me and it was not an enjoyable read. Read full review
