About the author (1996)

Erica Glasener, horticulturist, garden designer, and writer, is host of "A Gardener's Diary" on HGTV since its launch in 1994. Glasener received an Award of Excellence from Garden Writers of America for her work. She also writes a biweekly column on garden design for The Atlanta Journal - Constitution. Walter Reeves has been coaching gardeners throughout the Southeast with his unique advice for more than 30 years. His radio call-in show is heard each Saturday. Reeves appears on the nationally syndicated Ask DIY on the DIY Network, and he appears on Southern Home by Design on Turner South.
