A fantastic read. Gipe's trademark insanity really shines through here. He had such a strange world outlook. The inner thoughts of Gizmo and the other Mogwai are exposed. Mrs. Deagle's plot to sell all her land to Hitox Chemical is described in soporific detail. When describing Kate, Gipe mentions her "scrubbed freshness" and Billy's "mental pleasure" at even the thought of asking her on a date.
