yet another wonderful book featuring the glorious illustrations of Tomie dePaola, one of my most favorite illustrators (and story tellers). Its charming, positive, simple message is perfect for youngest children up to those just learning to read, with plenty of opportunity to engage them in active participation (colors, animals, elements, etc.). This book is a perfect way to introduce very young children or remind those a bit older to appreciate and love Mother Earth and the environment.

Beautiful illustrations by Tomie dePaola. Simple words, around the concept of "I love you". A bit flower childish in its earth message but then again I'm a bit of a flower child myself.
