this book is classic review of judgment in the case of Bhoval Sanyasi case. in the history of Indian courts in no other case voluminous evidence was led by the parties as it was led in this case. secondly the evidence was of all sorts. doctors were examined to lead evidence in respect of effects of consumption of poison and to counter that opinion some more doctors were examined. there were eye witnesses there were prostitutes who said that they had illcit relations with plaintiff, there were moles on the private parts of the plaintiff if he was second kumar that is Ramendra. it was not easy task for the judge to write a judgment. but Mr. Basu not only wrote but he wrote a best judgment. plain reading of the judgment goes to show how a judge should examine scan and scrutinize evidence in any case.........Every student of law must read this book at least once in life...........................
