Isaiah M. Apple was born August 9, 1871, in Loramie Township, Shelby County, Ohio, and has been a resident of Sidney, Ohio, practically all his life. He received his education in the public schools and he is a dealer in threshing machinery. He never held public office until elected to represent his senatorial district as a Democrat. Fraternally he belongs to Knights of Pythias and the Junior Lodge. He is married and there are ten children in the family, all living.

BYRON EVANS BAKER,

Representing the Thirteenth and Thirty-first Districts.

Byron Evans Baker was born September 5, 1868, near Croton, Licking County, Ohio, being a resident of the state all his life and the county for 22 years. He is a graduate of Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio, 1891, and Starling Medical College, Columbus, 1895. He is a practicing physician and surgeon at Milford Center, Union County, Ohio. He has been Mayor and member of Board of Education of his home village, member of Village Council and member of the Democratic State Central Committee, serving his second term. He is a member of the Masonic fraternity, is married and has one daughter

FRANK MILLER,
Representing the Thirteenth and Thirty-first Districts.

Mr. Miller, Democratic Senator from Crawford County, was born in Crestline, Crawford County, Ohio, March 11, 1863, where he still resides. He received his education in the public schools and Ohio State University. He read law and was admitted to the bar in 1887. He is a director of the First National Bank, Vice President of the Schill Bros. Company and Vice President of the Bench Plow Works. He has been Mayor of Crestline for two terms. He is married.

WILLIS HORN,

Representing the Seventeenth and Twenty-eighth
Districts.

Willis Horn was born at Orrville September 20, 1878. He received his education in the public schools, graduating from the Dalton High School and the Ohio Northern University. After graduating he was admitted to the bar and has since been practicing his profession in Orrville. In politics Mr. Horn is a Democrat and never held public office until elected to the Senate of the Eightyfirst General Assembly. Fraternally he belongs to the Jr. O. U. A. M. and Masons. GEORGE S. CRAWFORD,

Representing the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Districts.

George S. Crawford, Democratic Representative of Monroe County, was born at Graysville, Ohio, on the eighth day of October, 1864. He was educated in the public schools of his native county and is now extensively engaged in the business of farming. Prior to his being chosen member of the 80th General Assembly he had never 'held any public position. Mr. Crawford was appointed by Governor Frank B. Willis a Democratic member of the State Building Commission. He is married, a member of the I. O. O. F. order and lives near Graysville.

ASHER A. GALBREATH,

Representing the Twentieth and Twenty-second
Districts.

Asher A. Galbreath was born on a farm in Fairfield Township, Columbiana County, June 8, 1864, his parents being of Scotch-Irish descent. He was educated in the Lisbon High School and graduated from Mt. Union College, Alliance, Ohio, in 1888. Was resident of the county for forty-one years. Fraternally he belongs to the K. of P., Odd Fellows, Jr. O. U. A. M., Royal Arcanum and A. O. U. M. He has held the office of Mayor of Rogers, and was County Liquor License Commissioner of Columbiana County, which he resigned to take his place as a member of the 82nd General Assembly. Senator Galbreath is an attorney, President of National Typewriter Company and college President. He is married and has six children.

CHARLES A. WHITE,

Representing the Twentieth and Twenty-second
Districts.

Charles A. White of Columbiana County was born in Jefferson County, April 23, 1866, and is -of EnglishScotch-Irish descent. He received his education in the rnblic and normal schools of this state. He has served as Village Clerk and Village Treasurer, was elected County Recorder and then to membership in the 80th General Assembly. He was Treasurer of the County and Central Executive Republican Committees of Columbiana County. Mr. White has been farmer, carpenter and teacher during his life. He is married and is a member of the Knights of Pythias, Knights of the Golden Eagle and other fraternal organizations. He lives at Lisbon. Was also elected as a member of the House of Representatives in the 81st General Assembly, then as a Senator in the 82nd General Assembly.

ADAM W. OBERLIN,

Representing the Twenty-first District.

Adam W. Oberlin, Republican Senator from Stark County, was born May 13, 1859, in that county. His parents were Pennsylvania Germans. He was educated in the common schools, took an academic course and then attended business college. Mr. Oberlin has served as a member of the Township School Board, Township Trustee, Deputy Sheriff for five years and Sheriff four years. He is' a member of the Jr. O. U. A. M., Knights of Pythias, Grange, Moose and Reindeer lodges, also Canton Chamber of Commerce and the Canton Real Estate Board. Mr. Oberlin's great-grandfather was born in this country in 1751. Until appointed Deputy Sheriff of Stark County he lived on the farm where he was born— forty-s^ven years. He is married and lives in Canton. He was a member of the House of Representatives in the Eighty-first General Assembly.

HENRY W. DAVIS,

Representing the Twenty-third District.

Henry W. Davis, the Republican member from Youngstown, Ohio, was born April 11, 1863, living all his lifetime in the same county and city. He is from Welsh descent. He is engaged in the real estate business, his offices being in the Mahoning Bank Building. He has held the office of County Recorder. He received his education in the common schools and fraternally belongs to the Youngstown Club and the Chamber of Commerce of his city. He is married and has a family of two children, a boy and a girl

H. HARRISON TIMBY,

Representing the Twenty-fourth and Twenty-sixth
Districts.

H. Harrison Timby, Democratic Senator from the above district, is the first Democrat ever elected in Ashtabula County. He was born in Butler County, Pennsylvania, receiving his education in the common schools at Curry Institute, at Beaver and Pittsburgh, Pa. He never held an elective office except tax assessor for his home district. He was chairman of the Committee on Library; also on the following committees: Claims, Fees and Salaries, Geological Survey, Manufactures and ComPublic Works and Taxation. He is married.

THOMAS J. PALMER,

Representing the Twenty-fourth and Twenty-sixth
Districts.

Thomas J. Palmer, one of the Democratic Senators from the above districts, was born August 22, 1861, and is from English-American descent. He is a contractor an 1 builder and has resided in the state and county for fiftysix years. He was Township Clerk six years, Clerk of Board of Education seven years and member of County Board of Elections for five years. Fraternally he is a Modern Woodmen of America, and Junior Order American Mechanics. He was educated in the county district school and Lebanon Normal School. He is married and has six children, three of whom are serving their country. His home is East Akron, R. F. D. No. 2.

Representing the Twenty-fifth District.

William Agnew, one of the Democratic Senators from Cuyahoga County, was born May 30, 1870, Glasgow Scotland, and has been a resident of the county and' state for forty years. He is an attorney (Tax Specialist), rnd has held the office of Chief Deputy Clerk of Courts, 1903-1911; President Cleveland Board of Review, 1913; Deputy State Tax Commissioner, 1914-15. Fraternally l.e is a Mason, Knight Templar and Scottish Rite, Knight of Pythias, belongs to American Academy of Political and Social Science and the National Tax Association. He received his education in the Cleveland public and law schools. He is married and has no children.

JAMES S. KENNEDY,

Representing the Twenty-fifth District.

James S. Kennedy of Cleveland was born at Sycamore, N. Y., March 10, 1869. He received his education in the public schools and has resided in Qeveland for twenty years. Mr. Kennedy is a plumber and is a member of the Journeymen Plumbers' organization. Fraternally, he is a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was elected as a Democrat to the Senate of the Eighty-first and Eighty-second General Assembly. Mr. Kennedy is married.

CHARLES A. MOONEY,

Representing the Twenty-fifth District.

Charles A. Mooney of Cleveland was born at St. Marys, Ohio, January 5, 1879. He received his education in the public and high school at St. Marys and Jesuit College. He has been a resident of Cleveland since 1908 and is District Manager, for the Michigan Mutual Life Insurance Company. Mr. Mooney is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Elks and of the Cleveland Athletic and Colonial and City Clubs. He was elected to the Senate of the Eighty-first and Eighty-second General Assembly as a Democrat. He is married and has three children, two boys and a girl.

VIRGIL J. TERRELL,

Representing the Twenty-fifth District.

Virgil J. Terrell, one of the Democratic Senators of Cuyahoga County, was born in Qeveland, November 22, 1881. He was educated at St. Marys College, Dayton, Ohio, and is engaged in the practice of law in the city of his birth. Mr. Terrell represented Cuyahoga County in the Eightieth and Eighty-first General Assemblies.
