1 Review
The M8 light armored car was the only significant wheeled combat vehicle used by the US Army in World War II. In conjunction with the lightly armed utility version, the M20, it was the staple of the army's cavalry squadrons for use in reconnaissance and scouting. First entering combat in Italy in 1943, it was widely used throughout the campaign in northwest Europe, though its off-road performance was found to be wanting. This title describes the design and development of the M8, covering the many variants that were produced during World War II and afterwards, along with a comprehensive survey of its operational use.

we produce some of the safest and finest armoured cars at very
attractive prices.
There is only one correct way to armour a car and that's to make a strong
and protective shell around the passengers to give the best possible chance of surviving any attacks, the vehicle is armoured with the highest quality materials and it is important that the manufacturer has long experience with this kind of engineering.
The interior of a standard automobile to be equipped with armour is first stripped of its interior furnishing. The systems to raise or lower the windows are removed. Doors and window frames are rebuilt to rigidly mount a
bulletproof transparent window therein. Walls, Floor and ceiling of the car are bulletproofed by adding armoured steel or lightweight aramid, polyethylene panels in formed sections. Additional ballistic resistant strenght may
be provided by formed ceramic constructions for rebuilding portions of the exterior body; and especially around the doors & windows, armoured steel can be added. "The finished product is a discreetly armoured vehicle completed with unique technical knowhow to ensure the original
outer body appearance is maintained."
