About the author (2007)

Bestselling author Wendy Corsi Staub grew up in rural New York and knew as a young child that she wanted to become an author. After graduating in 1986 from the State University of New York at Fredonia, Staub moved to New York City and worked as a book editor and advertising agency account coordinator. She has written for both adults and young adults and published over 70 books in the following genres: thriller, psychological suspense, horror, romance, and biography. Staub has also ghost-written for several celebrities. She has used the pseudonym Wendy Markham and writes the young adult paranormal Lily Dale series. Staub is the recipient of the 2007 RWA-NYC Golden Apple Award for Lifetime Achievement and the 2008 RT Award for Career Achievement in Suspense.
