The author is a leading Australian science fiction writer whose other works include TStriped Holes' and TThe Dark Between the Stars'. First published by Avon Books (USA, 1986), it was published in 1970 in a shorter version as TSorcerer's World' (NAL/Signet in association with Horwitz Australia, 1970).
