About the author

Helen Martin is an award-winning writer and director. She has been an early childhood producer on television programs such as Play School and Hi-5. Danny Snell is a freelance illustrator living in Adelaide, Australia. He trained at the Adelaide Central School of Art and the University of South Australia, graduating with a Bachelor of Design (Illustration) in 1992. He produces illustrations for use in editorial, design and advertising. He also illustrates children's books and was one of two winners of the 2016 Wilderness Society Environment Award for Children's Literature, Picture book, for his book Seagull. His other books include Jeremy, Bilby Moon, You Are My Special Baby, The Long Way Home, Somewhere in Australia, Crocodile River, and Seadragon Sea.
