On this page, we'll show you how to sign up for the Google Books Partner Program. Please visit this page if you would like detailed information about the program in general.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up for the Google Books program at http://books.google.com/partner/signon.

Once you have completed the online form, you will receive an email with instructions about confirming your email address, as well as information about sending your materials to Google.

What are the terms and conditions?

After completing your application, we'll ask that you read and agree to the Google Books Terms and Conditions.

How do I fill out the application?

We've created a brief video which illustrates how to complete the application for the Google Books Partner Program:

Definitions for terms you'll find on the application:

  • Account type: There's no difference in the services or payment structure between individual and business accounts. For a business account, any payments from Google Books will be made in the name of a company. Partners in the United States will be required to provide a Social Security Number for an individual account or an Employer Identification Number (EIN) for a business account.
  • Book Search display name: We display the following text on all Google Books pages: "Published by [x]." This variable [x] corresponds to the text that you enter in the Book Search Display Name field.
  • Your website: The text that you enter in the Book Search display name field will appear as a link to this URL alongside all books that you submit to the program.
  • Email preferences: You may find it useful to receive our partner newsletter, which we send out occassionally with the most important updates to the Partner Program.
