As a participant in the Google Books Partner Program, you're eligible to generate revenue through text-based advertisements which are displayed alongside your books. On this page, we'll provide all relevant information regarding these payments to our partners.
When do I get paid?
Google will mail you a check approximately 30 days after the end of each calendar month if your earned balance is US $100 or more, unless otherwise agreed to in writing (including electronic mail). If your account balance is less than $100, we'll send you a check approximately 30 days after the first month that your balance reaches $100.
What do I need to do to get paid?
1. Payee name and address
Please make sure that your payee name and payee address in your account are up to date. You can view and edit your current payee address from the Payment Information page, which is accessible from the My Account tab of your account. Please send us an email if you need to make any changes to your payee name, which is the name that will appear on checks Google sends to you.
2. Tax information
It is the responsibility of each publisher to understand and adhere to the appropriate tax rules; we are not able to provide you with tax advice.
For U.S. publishers and publishers outside the U.S. in certain countries, Google is required by United States tax laws to collect certain tax-related information from you, so we must have this information before you can receive any payment. We have provided an easy-to-use interface that will help you to select the appropriate form for your tax situation. All of the forms are available to submit online, and instructions for submitting any other forms offline are also provided. The tax submission interface is available from the My Account tab of your Google Books account.
For some common questions related to submitting tax information, please visit this page. For tax advice or more technical questions about how tax laws apply to you, please consult your tax advisor.
What payment methods are available?
Google Books partners are paid by check. This is the only payment option available at this time.
