About the author (2005)

Fred A. Stutman, M.D. has done extensive research in the fields of exercise physiology, diet, and nutrition at the U.S. Naval Air Development Center and in his private medical practice. As a medical officer in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Stutman established one of the first walking programs for cardiac rehabilitation patients. Dr. Stutman is the author of ten books on diet, nutrition, and exercise.
