About the author (2002)

Heaney is Chief of the Section of Urology at Darmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Gill is a retired high school math teacher. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1998, it was surgically removed in 1999, and as of August 2001 all tests indicated the surgery was successful.
