About the author

Swee Lin is a mother and a woman who is interested in leaving the world in a better place than when she found it. She loves food, fashion, her family and friends. Her son is the light of her life.

Swee Lin has had an interesting life: having completed her undergraduate degree at the London School of Economics, Swee Lin embarked on a career in the corporate world. Starting off at the Economic Development Board of Singapore, she then went onto build a career in management consulting. After completing her MBA from The Wharton School with a double major in Strategy and Finance, Swee Lin joined McKinsey & Co for eight years. Management consulting was a career she picked because she wanted to help clients solve problems. She left the industry to take care of her son full time and now that he is older, she periodically freelances as a management consultant and executive coach.

She is the author of the soon to be published book, "10 Easy Habits of Eating Well, Being Well. Rebuild your metabolism after 40, Get better skin".

Her most recent adventure was joining the Amazing Food Challenge Season 3, where she was a finalist out of 12 contestants from around the world. Having crossed her forties, she is keen to see what new adventures she will encounter through life’s exciting journey. She believes many will be centered around themes of helping and healing.
