About the author (2011)

Sara Kirkham is a full-time nutritionist and fitness consultant. She has spent 20 years in the health and fitness industry, developing fitness and running programs for thousands of people. She is a qualified and registered nutritionist and has written and taught a sports nutrition degree module for Leeds Metropolitan University. She is a freelance writer and has written for, among others, "Men's Health", "Zest Magazine", and "The Independent". She is the author of "Basic and Advanced Fitness Certifications for the AFOGB".
