Mind Over Matter
This is a book of poems that covers various subjects. Many of these poems were previously published, individually. The title poem answers a question I've gotten many times, because my father and I have season tickets to NFL games, people ask: "Why go?" "Why not watch the (football) games at home where it's warm and dry", instead of going to see them live, through the sometimes bad weather and often worse teams? 'Mind Over Matter (The 12th Man)' is the answer to those who question our sanity and ask why we still do it. Most of the poems are not about football, of course, most of them are just about life as seen through the eyes of a dedicated and hopeful poet.
