The 2004 Energy Statistics Yearbook is the forty-eighth in an internationally comparable series of commercial energy statistics summarizing world energy trends and presents annual data for 215 countries and areas for the period 2001 to 2004 on production, trade and consumption of energy: solids, liquids, gaseous fuels and electricity. In addition, per capita consumption series are also provided for all energy products. Special tables of interest include international trade tables for coal, crude petroleum and natural gas by partner countries, providing information on direction of trade, selected series of statistics on fuel wood, charcoal and bagasse, refinery distillation capacity as well as a table on selected energy resources.
