365 Foundation Quilt Blocks

Front Cover
Sterling Publishing Company, Inc., 2005 - Crafts & Hobbies - 352 pages
If you've been avoiding quiltmaking because you dislike the idea of measuring and cutting multitudes of squares and triangles, then tediously trying to sew everything together accurately, this is the book for you. In 365 Foundation Quilt Blocks no templates are used, and even the smallest pieces meet every other piece precisely, quickly and accurately. The secret is to sew bits of fabric onto a foundation (either paper or fabric) following a numerical sequence. This book starts with a brief explanation of the method and then gives you traceable patterns for 365 different blocks (one for every day in the year). For each month, the author gives you a wonderful quilt using that month's blocks. You can make a Christmas quilt with the December blocks, or a pretty flower quilt with each month's flower. There are enough blocks here to keep a quilter busy for years.
