"365 DAYS OF CREATIVE PLAY" has been carefully designed to present a wide variety of creative projects that stimulate imagination, growth, & problem-solving development. It is primarily designed to be used by parents & other adults who serve as the child's motivators, but we encourage its use by older siblings. The format is convenient & precise - arranged much like a cookbook, with a brief list of everyday materials required for each activity followed by short, step-by-step instructions. The activities, all of which tap into the child's creative potential, are grouped into 13 categories: Construction, Nature, Crafts, Family, Environmental, Games, Foods & Cooking, Art, Education, Music, Dance, Horticulture & Make-Believe. "365 DAYS OF CREATIVE PLAY" does not require that adults follow through the book page-by-page, but encourages the selection of suitable activities from the wealth of ideas presented throughout the book. All the activities - from "Animal Collage" & "Act it Out" to "Zoo & Farm Sounds" - have been tried & tested by the authors' own children & their friends. "365 DAYS" includes a handy list of tips to enhance children's safety & enjoyment, & features 370 illustrations drawn by children seven to nine years old.
