The author weaves observations about modern society with geographical phenomena, glimpses of herself in various stages of growth, spiritual and musical impressions, and retrospective realizations of family dynamics. The book offers keen insights of human behavior and emotions, poses questions for the reader to grapple with. Each poem bears date of creation for chronological interest.

What a fabulous piece of work! There are poems that go from the mundane to the sublime on so many topics from spirituality to music to family life, love, and even leftovers. You can tell this author understands life because she has lived so many aspects of it. I highly recommend this book of poetry to even those a bit fearful of poetry. These poems make you think, smile, ponder, without being pretentious or overly esoteric.
