My teacher in Computer Assembly and Repair has recommended this as a text book.
I think it is easy to read and understand. Well written. Big book. Bit expensive for a student on low income, but worth saving up for. Great illustrations and explainations. Well recommended.

She has written numerous books on software, hardware, and the Internet, including the bestselling A+ GUIDE TO MANAGING AND MAINTAINING YOUR PC, 8th Edition, and A+ GUIDE TO HARDWARE: MANAGING, MAINTAINING AND TROUBLESHOOTING, Sixth Edition. She lives in north Georgia.
