ABS Classification of Qualifications

Front Cover
Australian Bureau of Statistics, 1993 - Degrees, Academic - 229 pages
This publication is intended for use in coding information on post-school educational qualifications. The system provides coding indexes in alphabetical order and instructions for their use. The classification was developed to enable a 4-digit code to be assigned, with a high degree of accuracy and consistency, to information about a particular qualification. Users should refer to the ABS Classification of Qualifications (ABSCQ) (1262.0) when interpreting statistics coded to this classification. This classification will be revised periodically to reflect changes in post-school educational qualifications in Australia.
