About the author (2006)

The author, Jack H. Adcock, was born November 11, 1938, the son of migrant farm worker. He was born in the corner of a barn used to store thrashed grain in the high country of New Mexico. As a young father He used to tell his three children stories about a boy in the old west. These stories developed into what is now called, "A Boy in a Cruel Man's World."
