About the author (2010)

Steve Kershaw has a Ph.D. in the history of Greek mythology and has taught Classics at Oxford University. He is the editor of The Penguin Dictionary of Classical Mythology and the author of A Brief Guide to the Greek Myths. He lives in the Oxfordshire village of Deddington.
