About the author (2001)

Suzanne Giroux's lifelong battles with cancer led her to help people with the same disease. She became a motivational speaker for National Speaker Bureau before ultimately losing her battle with cancer in 2001. Robyn Burnett is a graduate of the UBC creative writing program. For the past three years, she has volunteered with Camp Trillium, an organization that works with children with cancer and their families.
