A Client Called Noah: A Family Journey Continued
Josh Greenfeld is a writer; his wife, Foumi, a painter and writer. They have a healthy son named Karl. Noah, born in 1966, is their severely brain-damaged son. In this book, the author continues the story of his family's struggle with Noah's illness, a story he began in his previous two books. In journal entries from January 1977 through November 1980, he chronicles Noah's life as he approaches adolescence, making minute progress followed by heartbreaking setbacks. As Noah grows bigger and ever more difficult to handle, the family must search for a humane and effective institutional situation for him.
