This book has two major themes: firstly, it discusses psycholinguistic and cognitive aspects of language learning, and secondly, it looks at the contrast between universalist accounts of language learning and accounts which focus on individual differences between learners. I honestly stopped reading shortly after this author claimed that Krashen is a proponent of immersion. Does this person know what immersion is? Krashen is staunch supporter of bililngual education, just check his Twitter account. He's written an entire book on the subject (against immersion and for billingual education): English Language Learners in American Classrooms: 101 Questions, 101 Answers. Read it instead.
