About the author (2003)

Danish Ahmed is 25-year-old entrepreneur and Information Technology professional. For the last ten years, Danish has been actively pursuing and creating personal development material. He is an accomplished Toastmaster and has given motivational/ educational presentations to organizations like Laurier University and DECA Ontario, with audiences of up to 2,000 attendees.

Danish Ahmed has accomplished many firsts. He was designing curriculums and teaching by the time he was 16 years of age. He co-developed a revolutionary Internet technology which became the foundation of a dot-com startup. He has consulted with leading companies and has worked in the industries of stock market analysis, biotechnology, geographic information systems, and international trade. Although his skill is technical, his passion is people. As such, Danish continually seeks to integrate and implement peak-performance technologies within himself, his family, his co-workers, and his community.

From buying Anthony Robbins Personal Power program at the age of 15, to writing A Dictionary of Distinctions, Danish has enrolled himself into learning from every possible success coach. His experience includes programs by Dr. John Gray, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Accelerated Learning, Stirling Institute of Relation-ships, Outward Bound, Up With People, the Sedona Method, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Network Marketing. His keen interest in these areas, along with his personal interest in politics, dance, improv, spirituality and martial arts, has gotten him to travel around North America and to countries such as France, Hungary, Cuba, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.

From visiting the White House on numerous occasions to getting married in Pakistan, Danish draws on his diversity of experiences to give A Dictionary of Distinctions a unique dose of wisdom that cannot be found elsewhere.
