About the author (2004)

Chan Sin-wai is a professor and the Chairman of the Department of Translation, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests are computer translation and bilingual lexicography. He has written numerous books and ariticles on these topics and was one of The two Revisers of the Longman Dictionary of English Language and Culture (Bilingual Edition) published in 2003.
