About the author (2005)

Su Swallow is Jane Oliver's pen name. She lives in Suffolk, England, with her architect husband. She has been writing children's books for over 30 years. She has written Nick's Birthday and Albert Liked Ladders in addition to Sand Dragon for the Evans Publishing Group.
