About the author (2015)
Tony Fernández is the representative in Cuba for Hope For Life/Herald of Truth Ministries. He also preaches for the Versalles Church of Christ in Matanzas, Cuba. Tony began this congregation along with his parents in 1992; since then, the congregation has grown from 3 members to over 700. The Versalles has planted dozens of other congregations, averaging approximately 180 baptisms per year.Tony is an accomplished bass violinist, presenting concerts both nationally and internationally, including tours of Spain, Austria, Brazil, Jamaica, Cayman Islands and the United States. In 2000, he helped begin the Church of Christ Chamber Choir, which has performed in prestigious events throughout Cuba, including two performances for President Raúl Castro.Tony lives in Matanzas, Cuba, with his wife Liudmila and their daughter Susana.
Tim Archer has been heavily involved with Cuba since he became a part of Hope For Life/Herald of Truth Ministries in 2006. His weekly radio program, Lea La Biblia (Read The Bible), is heard throughout the island.Tim has preached for campaigns in a dozen countries, both in English and Spanish. He has written for numerous publications, both in print and online. Besides writing several tracts for Hope For Life, Tim has co-authored three books with Steve Ridgell: Letters From The Lamb, Hope For Life, and More Hope For Life.Tim preaches for the bilingual ministry at the University Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas, where he attends with his wife Carolina, and their two children, Daniel and Andrea.
