About the author (2010)

James Ransome is the award-winning illustrator of over twenty books for children. He is a two-time recipient of the Coretta Scott King Award for Illustration for The Creation and Uncle Jed's Barbershop. A graduate of the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, James lives with his family in upstate New York. A lover of the Christmas season himself, James set out to create a universal treasury for readers of all ages.
