About the author (2008)

After completing his National Service, David Ward spent five years in the police before retraining as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and becoming an expert in contract law and procedure. He spent several years as an Audit Manager for a public utility, then went into private practice, acting as an expert witness in court cases.
