About the author (1994)

Ortlund and his wife founded Renewal ministries after he led two prominent churches in Southern California. Together they authored more than 25 books and spoke worldwide. For 19 years Ray was the speaker for "Haven of Rest" radio broadcast.

Ortlund is an accomplished musician and writer whose works have earned her a place in Who's Who of American Women.
