About the author (2011)

At the age of twenty-five, Trina Clickner created and marketed the first gourmet garlic and cheese dog biscuit. She was spurred to do this because she grew up in a Greek family with garlic galore. She is the creator of www.foodhistorian.com, an effort to encourage families to preserve original handwritten recipes as a way to stay in touch with their family history and heritage. In 1998 she launched PocketChef, an innovative PalmPilot app that includes original and chef-created recipes. She lives in Florida, and feels that there's no such thing in any meal as "too much garlic."
