First bought it to show it to someone who never heard of Harold and the Purple Crayon this this was pass over to my Granddaughter and she loves it. Her school even took her class to see a play on Harold. Read full review

About the author (1985)

Crockett Johnson is the much-loved author and illustrator of five books about Harold and The Purple Crayon. He is also the illustrator of The Carrot Seed by Ruth Krauss.
