Photojournalist Brenton Walsh is given a strange assignment; give the illusion that multi-millionaire Jasper Quentin is dead. When he agrees to take it on Brenton is drawn into a surreal realm in which he can no longer make sense of the world he knew. He discovers the nightmarish exiestence of a world predicated on illicit sex, insane historians, haughty intellectuals and pagan ritual. As he dives deeper and deeper into this obscure realm he is lead from New York City to the darkest regions of his mind where he searches from salvation and truth through psycological suffering, reflection and death.
