About the author (2004)

Thomas Froncek is the author of Home Again, Home Again and Take Away One. His articles have appeared in American Heritage, Christian Science Monitor, The Village Voice, and The Country Journal. Much of this story was written while Froncek lived on the Hudson River, where he sailed his Tanzer 22, Advance, in the shadow of the great Tappan Zee Bridge. He now lives in Brunswick, ME.
