A Wynn Family History

Front Cover
AuthorHouse, 2009 - Biography & Autobiography - 280 pages
This book is a genealogy of Harley Wynn's family and the Rogers, Martin and Wynn ancestors from the 1800s to 2009. Harley and Edna (Martin) Wynn had eight children before she died when the youngest was nine months old. The older children fended for themselves, the younger ones were moved among neighbors and brothers and sisters of Harley and Edna. Harley remarried and had three children. When his wife left him and the children, the children were put up for adoption, each adopted by a different family in the area. These children found each other when they were young and found their Wynn brothers and sisters when they were young adults. The Annual Wynn Reunion has been a favorite and much anticipated event for all 11 children and their families. This book is a testament to a family who stayed together during difficult times, depression and war, married and raised families. They lived their lives, doing what was necessary to survive, without complaint. There also are sections on those family members who served in the U S armed forces, the annual Wynn Reunion, Wynn Camp Outs and birthday and anniversary lists.
