Nina Ashton has come to LA with hope of landing a prestigious position as a skilled art conservator. When Nina learns that thieves have made off with several paintings and damaged others belonging to the wealthy collector, Raffy Whitman, she decides to pay Raffy a visit herself to give an estimate for the cost of restoring the damaged paintings. Raffy is instantly captivated by her and convinces Nina to come to work for his Whitman Art Foundation. Thus begins an exciting liaison between the two that takes Nina to Paris and Switzerland in search of a valuable stolen painting and into the beds of the men who they suspect may have acquired it.
