About the author (1993)

Oscar Janiger, M.D. (1918-2001), was one of the first American researchers to study the psychedelic drugs DMT and LSD and was the author of A Different Kind of Healing.

Philip Goldberg, Ph.D., is a spiritual counselor, meditation teacher, and ordained Interfaith Minister. The author or co-author of 17 books, including "The Intuitive Edge" and "Making Peace with God," he has appeared on many television and radio talk shows, including NBC's "Today," and has been featured in the "Los Angeles Times," "Prevention," "Cosmopolitan," and "Ladies Home Journal," He lives in Los Angeles, where he sees private clients and writes books and screenplays.
