What people are saying - Write a review
Like many books about the Anglo-Sudan war against the Mahdi, there are many inaccuracies. This seems to be a common issue with all authors. There are many inaccuracies with dates and names of places and local people.
What is totally unacceptable, however, are the numbers of spelling mistakes (of English words) throughout the book. I have to wonder if the Author Henry-Keown-Boyd actually read the proofs of his book, and I have to ask what Messrs. Cooper, Secker & Warburg did to ensure any literary quality.
