Sophie Green, the worst spy the British secret service has ever seen, is back and she’s in love—with a car.

Book two of the Sophie Green Mysteries.

Her best friend is being stalked, and to find out why, Sophie has to solve a murder committed fifteen years ago. Complicating the case is Docherty, whose brooding eyes and Irish accent get Sophie almost as hot as his Aston Martin—and her partner Luke, who may be sexy as hell but has all the interpersonal skills of a speeding bullet. Not that Sophie’s going to allow the state of her love life to distract her from her mission. Much.

Murder plots, stolen supercars, coolheaded mercenaries and mysterious artifacts? Must be a Tuesday.

Warning:

Warning, this title contains the following: guns, swearing, sex, dark thoughts about cheerful people, incomprehensible Britishisms, and painful sarcasm.

As addicting as the Plum series!

A "can't put it down book" and definite fun reading! I am so glad I found this series. The Sophie Green Mystery series is in the same genre as the Stephanie Plum series. A wonderfully funny book! Read full review

About the author (2007)

Kate was born in 1982 and still hasn’t grown up yet. She lives in England with her family and two cats who are her babies in every sense. Except, obviously, the biological one. She’s been writing since her teens and is damn glad it’s finally taking off since this means she won’t have to go back to working airport check-in any more. Kate is single but aspirational (Prince William likes Kates, right?) and asks all potential dates to send in pictures of themselves and their Aston Martins.
