"This report brings together under one cover the information available on an aluminum casting alloy designated M45 which consists primarily of aluminum admixed with copper, cadmium, magnesium, and titanium. M45 was designed specifically for use in cryogenic environments where materials of strength, ductility, and toughness are required. Because these properties of the material actually increase as temperatures decrease, M45 appears to be attractive for many applications at cryotemperatures."--Foreword.
