For nearly the whole of the year 2000 the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt placed a room at the disposal of Bettina Rheims. Its purpose was to record her inimitable style by means of a selection of her works.

On this occasion a catalogue was been produced which combines important photographs from the exhibition with biographical information.

Jean-Christophe Ammann, was the director of the Museum until December 2001 and was and one of the most influential contributors to the discussion on contemporary art has written a stimulating text to accompany the pictures.
